For the first time through this trial, Kevin told me he is feeling GREAT.  That just makes me smile all over.  His feeding is increasing, and he is set at almost 1/2 what a normal feeding would be, which is just great!

He’s tacking a nap today, and earlier we enjoyed a surprise visit from my sis.  That was great!  We just caught up, and played some bowling on the Wii.  Fun times.

Not much planned for this evening-Dr. Kendra stopped in to pick on us for a bit, and informed us that the number one suspicion of the bleed out from last week is still the tumor.  The second possibility is that when the tumor shrunk, it left holes in places where there shouldn’t be, and that caused the bleed.  They’re learning towards the first scenario, but frankly, they’ll never know.  For now, he’s stable, and it looks like it should stay that way barring no big surprises!

Kevin is almost ready to be cleared for non-clear liquids which is great.  Which means..CHOCOLATE MILK.  He’s been craving it like crazy, so we sneaked him a glass today (at the Ok of the Dr. until the official team oks it), and it was heaven.  We got to talk more about life on the “outside” and how it will be adjusting to eating out, family dinners, etc.  One day at a time.

Tonight I think the plan is to just chill-tomorrow, the CHAIR is arriving, which Kevin is quite excited about.  His goal is to add 1 more lap a day as well to his walking routine, and already today he was up to 4 laps in a row!  Wahoo!
