Today was uneventful, which is always nice. In rounds this morning, we found out that we’re definitely heading home this week provided all goes well this week. One of the Dr’s said Kevin shouldn’t have any problems getting cleared by Occupational and Physical Therapy. The main thing will be getting a home care nurse to help with EVERYTHING.
We’re starting a very large list of all the supplies we’ll need, the concerns we have, etc, etc. The list is growing, and we have a LOT of questions to get answered before we feel comfortable heading home.
My parents visited today, and we got to talk more about our move back in with them. We’re happy to have a great, relaxing place to stay in the interim.
Pray that the people test driving my car tonight will LIKE it, and we can finally get it sold. That would lift a substantial financial burden from us.
Also continue to pray for smoothness of transitions in the upcoming week. Volunteers seem to be coming together nicely for the move this Thursday, and the only concern I have is getting the recliner here back to Lancaster. Provided there are no big storms in the evenings this week, we’ll be fine.
I’m on the hunt for a part time job with benefits. I’m not sure what’s out there, but I’m putting my applications out. I’m not sure that I’ll be able to start anything for possibly another month, due to the high probability of us being back here for the last round of chemo before re-evaluation (most likely we’ll be in inapatient for a week of that, but we don’t have any definite on that yet).
Lots of transitions-pray for continued improvement of health, and our miracles. The Lord’s will be done.
