….A HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUG from all of us to everyone who helped, participated, donated, showed up and partied last night at the fundraiser social in Winnipeg.
I hesitated for a moment in posting the number, but Kevin and I are so abundantly amazed that we wanted to share with you the generosity.
The social from Winnipeg raised $12,800 for our medical and living expenses!!!!
(yes, my mouth dropped too!)
You people are amazing. Thank you ALL for showing up and having a great time in celebration of Kevin’s future full and complete recovery. We look forward to making that big deposit into the soon to be opened ‘Kevin Boitson Recuperation Fund”.

Im not sure if Kevin remembers me. I knew it took me a few mins to put a face to the name when my aunt asked me about going to the social. My Grandma & Yours were great friends for years and years. I have the best every memory for you.. It was Christmas many many years ago. Mr. Collins (Your Grandpa) was dressed as Santa and came by with his usual chocalates and warnings to be in bed so he could later come to leave our gifts. He always was so cheerful and kind. I never knew it was him until many years later when i no longer had the belief in “Santa”. I am told stories of us hanging out as children and running around at then Arlington park. Im sorry we all lost contact with hectic lives. Im am praying and believeing in a miracle for you.
The social was great. Lots of hugs and exchanges of stories with long lost friends. I actually ran into a high school friend I had not seen in many years. Turns out you & James were good friends. Its funny how we meet people and are in ways still connected.
Your Mom is in very good spirits and praying for you. She is a wonderful lady and is quite powerful in her good will. I wish you all the best and hope that soon we can meet again and catch up even if it has been over 25 years.
Congratulations to you both on finding each other and being so in love. Congrats on finding your other half.

HEY BRENDA AND KEVIN.. THE SOCIAL WAS GREAT…AMAZING NUMBER OF PEOPLE SHOWED UP…GREAT MUSIC, GREAT FOOD, AND A GREAT TIME FOR A WONDERFUL CAUSE. THANKS BE TO ALL OF THE VOLUNTEERS WHO WORKED ENDLESS HOURS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR FRANK AND HELEN, CHRIS AND LYNN, ALINE AND ALINE, DEBBIE JOROWSKI AND KEN AND MANY OTHERS THAT CAME OUT AND WORKED TIREDLESSLY FOR THE SUCCESS OF THIS EVENT. ALSO MANY THANKS TO KEN AND ALICIAS RESTAURANT WHO PROVIDED THE HOT MEAL FOR THE MASSES. THIS PROVES THAT THERE ARE MANY WHO STEP UP TO THE PLATE TO HELP AND REINFORCES OUR FAITH IN THE GREATER BEING IN THIS LIFE.
